Good Morning!!! With the rain last few days and cooler temps. It’s time!!!! The fall fishing season is here. Over the years Lake Greenwood gives up bigger fish during the fall/winter fishing season. Reports of crappie fishing being great and striper all over the lake. Now is the time to get out there and get those big ole biggens.
We have prepared the store for this time of year with Alabama rigs (arigs) with have a large selection of swim baits. Along with jigs heads to complete your needs. Oh yeah if it’s bucktails and ice flys are your needs. We have those as well. With the cooler weather. Crappie will be leaving brush piles soon. So long lining season is about to get really good. Our crappie wall is fully stocked with products like Crappie Country which the color selection of those is the best anywhere around. Our Fish Stalker product line is stocked!! Another local favorite. We also have a nice supply of small crappie crank baits. These should be very good to have pulling those long lining. So stop by and load up. We just got a fresh load of herring so our tanks are ready to fill your bait tanks. We are open of course 7 days a week from 6am to 6 Pm. Plenty of time to stop by get bait and be out on the water as the sun is rising. If you haven’t tried fall fishing season on Lake Greenwood. It’s time.

We have been hearing about these for a while now and they are finally here! The Glow Magnet by Crappie Country- Aura Series Underwater Lights. We are blessed to be the first store to receive them. We have them in both the 60 watt 6,000 lumens and the 100 watt 10,000 lumens. Jason Sullivan had the opportunity to test the 100 watt prototype back in the summer and he said it was incredible. It was still very visible at 30'!!! These things are going to be a game changer.

Good Saturday afternoon. While watching football this wonderful day. I came up with an idea I would like to do. We going to call it “Coffee with Chuck” so on Tuesday morning I’m inviting whoever can come to the store. The agenda is to just talk about fishing. If this works this idea I have. I plan to maybe invite special guess speakers. The fall fishing g season and I to the winter months. Lake Greenwood is known for giving up bigger fish. That’s happening already. Through this coffee time we will discuss different ways to be successful.
Only testing the waters with this idea. Through comments. Maybe Tuesday morning isn’t best time. We will see. What will you need to bring. If you prefer to bring your own coffee cup. Please bring a chair. Also pen and paper. Doesn’t hurt to take notes. So please like share and comment. If this is well attended. We may do something like this on a regular schedule.
