Today, life looks bleak
For so many I just cry

I wish we could all come together
Not as Democrats or Republicans
But as Americans
To help each other
For our war for our country
Our freedoms must be fought for again
It has only just begun
Let the other countries take care
For we cannot help others unless we are strong

Reassuring a boy/man
that has hurt me many times

Very true... I think it’s also very important to touch on the fact that we need to be mindful of this ourselves every day with other people. We can say/do some really brutal things to people when we’re angry or splitting, and I’ve only recently realized how much I have traumatized people in the past dealing with the pain and the depth of rage of this disorder.

Rough draft- Winters hand

Winter comes
Teasing us all this week letting the sun shine
But we all know she is a finicky bitch
Give her just a bit of time
Before we know it 30 below
With winds blistering skin
Blizzards with no visibility
Some days I'm frozen within
Yet when I wake and pretty sparkles surround
This South Dakota land
I will button up to go look around... Holding winters hand
