This weekend was one I’ll never forget. ❤️🇺🇸

I had the honor of traveling to New York City to participate in the Tunnel to Towers 5K, walking through the Brooklyn Battery Tunnel alongside thousands of people coming together to remember, honor, and support those who made the ultimate sacrifice on September 11th. The weather was less than ideal but even a nor’easter couldn’t dampen the spirit of this amazing event.

As a Carpet One member, I’m especially proud that our Carpet One Co-op is such a strong supporter of the Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation. Being there in person made that commitment feel even more meaningful.

For my family, this weekend carried an even deeper significance. My dad’s cousin, Sandra Wright, was among those who lost her life in the South Tower on September 11, 2001. Walking through that tunnel and seeing so many people carrying the names and stories of those we lost was incredibly emotional.

It was a weekend filled with remembrance, gratitude, community, and a powerful reminder that we will never forget.

I’m grateful to have been part of it. ❤️🇺🇸

Today, we pause to remember the lives lost and the families forever changed on September 11, 2001.

Twenty-five years later, we remember the courage of the first responders, the strength of those who served, and the countless acts of kindness and compassion that brought people together in the days that followed.

May we never forget that, even in our darkest moments, we are stronger when we stand together.

Today, we remember.
Today, we honor.
And today, we hope for unity, compassion, and peace for our country. 🇺🇸

We remember. We honor. We will never forget. 🇺🇸
