Schultz's Portable Sawmill is an LLC based in Watertown, WI with no employees. I operate a LucasMill Dedicated Slabber that can mill logs up to 76" in diameter and 24+ feet long. I also have a home based service in Watertown for flattening and finish-sanding large live-edge slabs or other wood products. Lastly, I have a small woodshop and specialize in producing live-edge tables, bars, and other c

ustom products. I run this LLC as a full time operation with the assistance and support of my wife, Ericka, and I'm very quick about booking milling dates. My sawmill setup is very versatile and can be operated on a multitude of terrains, level or not, which makes it a great option for logs that are hard or impossible to remove from any given property or area. My 5 year expansion plan includes relocating my shop to a heated factory/warehouse setting of at least 2,000 square feet and investing in a large vacuum kiln drying operation.

7 Black Walnut Slabs - 327 BDFT Lot - 2.5" Thick - $6/BDFT Green (Milled on 1/22/25) - Buyer Dries

7 slabs @ 10/4 (327 bdft total) of Black Walnut milled in Jan 2025 (Tree felled June 2024).

SLAB DETAILS:
-Slabs are all over 8' in length (98" - 100.5") measured at narrowest points in length.
-Excess board footage beyond minimum length not counted, and board footage from voids/imperfections subtracted and reflected in lot total.
-The largest slab by volume is 26.25" wide at its narrowest point and up to 34.5" at widest.
-The widest slab has a max width of 43".
-Stack includes same-species 3/4" stickers.
-These were cut from one old-growth tree and I will not split the slabs up to sell any smaller quantities.
-All imperfections clearly visible in pictures/video.

The only available purchasing option is as follows:

Lot of 7 slabs at 10/4 thickness (327 bdft) X $6/bdft = $1,962 FIRM

*Will deliver anywhere in Wisconsin or surrounding states for $50/hr driving time calculated via google maps.

*Will not respond to tire kickers, low-ball offers, or any whiners. Every stack of walnut slabs I list sells promptly, so please refrain from airing your complaints to me via messenger.
