ou enter through the Victorian staircase you are greeted by a portrait of Big Jack Reynolds, flanked by his original guitar, harmonicas and a memorial urn containing his ashes as his final resting place. Third Street Cigar Records is wholly owned by Third Street Cigar, LLC. as is Third Street Cigar BBQ Barons, purveyors of finely smoked meat for your private or public events. Big Jack's Lounge is rich in history when it comes to both Rock and Rhythm and Blues - featuring performers who have toured Greater Toledo and the surrounding areas over the years. Featured photos include Elvis playing the Sports Arena in 1956, as well as his last tour when Elvis played then Centennial Hall at the University of Toledo. In addition, other famous photography can be viewed of Bruce Springsteen, Eric Clapton, David Bowie, Freddie Mercury, The Ramones, Chuck Berry and others to fast bring back memories of yesterday. Many featured photos are available for purchase too! Big Jack's Lounge also exhibits famous guitars signed by Paul McCartney, the Rolling Stones and Sammy Hagar with concert posters to make your musical journey complete! Big Jack's Lounge is furnished with leather club chairs, end tables and standing ash trays, all creating a comfortable and relaxing experience to have a smoke while you have a great conversation, enjoy some live music performance or watch a sport event on one of our two 70 inch, HD TVs! Tips & Tricks Thursday | Third Street Cigar

Ever wonder why some ci**rs taste bold and peppery while others taste sweet and creamy? A lot of it starts with the wrapper.

Lighter wrappers like Connecticut Shade tend to bring mild, creamy, slightly sweet flavor. Darker wrappers like Maduro or Oscuro are fermented longer, so they lean rich and full-bodied with notes of chocolate or coffee. Habano and Sun Grown wrappers land in between, adding spice and complexity.

Wrapper color isn't a strict rulebook, but it's a great starting point if you're not sure what to grab next. Ask us to walk you through a few side by side next time you're in.

Brand Spotlight | Third Street Cigar

This week we're shining the spotlight on Crux Ci**rs, a small-batch blender out of Boca Raton known for punching well above its weight in craftsmanship and flavor.

Crux built its reputation on Epicure, the brand's flagship line and still one of its most decorated — smooth and creamy with a clean caramel finish that's picked up glowing reviews, including a 97 from Stogie Press and a top-15 ranking out of more than 500 new ci**rs from Halfwheel. We carry the original Epicure alongside the Habano and Maduro versions, plus Bull & Bear, Guild, Limitada, Du Connoisseur, and the newest release, Marblehead.

Tips & Tricks Thursday | Third Street Cigar

How you light your cigar makes a difference and most people rush it.

Butane torch lighters are ideal. They burn clean and won't add any off-flavors to the to***co. Avoid fluid lighters or standard matches when you can — the chemicals can affect your first few puffs.

Start by toasting the foot. Hold the flame about an inch below the end and rotate the cigar slowly, warming the to***co without drawing. Once the foot starts to glow evenly, bring it to your lips and draw slowly while continuing to rotate. Take your time.

If one side starts burning faster than the other, that's called canoeing. Touch the flame to the slow side and let it catch up before you keep going.

The first few draws can taste a little sharp while the cigar settles in. That's normal. Give it a minute and it evens out.
