This study uses scripture not theory.

The purpose of this Bible study is to properly teach scripture and its interpretation that the mainline denominational refuses to teach.

According to the prophecy of Ezekiel, the countdown to the end of the Earth as we know it will begin when the 2nd Temple was completed in Jerusalem. The ‘countdown’ will be intimately tied to the Hebrews and last for 70 ‘Weeks’, each ‘Week’ being 7 years (70 * 7 = 490 years).

One might well refer to this 490-year era as ‘the Times of the Hebrews’. Scripture tells us while everyone is a descendant of Noah, only those descended from Abraham are Hebrews, God’s ‘Chosen’ people; all others are identified as Gentiles.

Ezekiel’s prophecy includes several major events that have occurred exactly when and as foretold. At the end of the 62nd ‘Week’ (62 * 7 = 434 years), fulfilling over 100 prophecies, Messiah died, by His own hand, on a cross.

During the following 49 years (7 ‘Weeks’) following Christ’s crucifixion, the Apostles spread the Gospel (‘Good News’) to enclaves of Hebrews scattered around the world. Paul was simultaneously spreading the Gospel to the Gentile world. During the last days of the 69th week (69 * 7 = 483 years), all that remained of Israel, including the 2nd Temple and Jerusalem, was obliterated.

Around the world, the efforts of the Apostles and Paul began to bear fruit. By the 18th Century, the chunk of land we know today as the United States had coalesced into what would soon be recognizable as a Gentile version of Israel. For 200 years, our country has grown, shedding most of its ‘old world’ imperfections. It began to appear our country was becoming that ‘shining city on the hill’.

In the mid-20th Century (1900-2000), the lure of ‘freedom’ and ‘prosperity’ increasingly clouded men’s judgement, unraveling our progress. We began to elect people who did not cherish Biblical values, people who involved our nation in foreign wars to keep our focus away from things they were doing ‘behind the scenes’ to further their personal goals and remake us into a nation of ‘sheep’ ruled by an ‘elite’ few.

Call it socialism, communism, marxism, na**sm, feudalism, racism, or any other name, it is a world of slavery for most. Those attempting to live as God intended are now being branded ‘enemies of the state’, ‘domestic terrorists. God judges nations by their leaders, not by the percentage of those being lead.

In 2000, 224 years since Independence, the United States was ripe to implode--self-destruct.

Has God hidden in scripture a spiritual truth theory other than the physical 1,000-year future reign theory that is taught by mainline denominations? The 1,000 years, what I understand about it, is broken down into 3 events all taking place at the same time.

In posting these three events, the physical theory reign is not part of my post, so withhold all comments about it. I’ve heard enough of those debates to last me a life time. These post are about a spiritual truth in scripture.

Chapter 20 of Revelation is thought by some to be the darkest part of all prophecy. Some say that what it contains are not yet fulfilled.

There is (1) the binding of Satan for a thousand years, (2) the reign of the saints with Christ during the same time, (3) the loosing of Satan, and the conflict with the believers after that time, and then the day of judgment

It is not likely that the number, a thousand years, is to be taken literally here. The doctrine of the millennium, or of believers reigning on earth exactly a thousand years with Christ as their head, has been defended by many Christians who believed the millennium was at hand; and its beginning has been expected in every century. Those predictions have always been in vain.

Yet there is no doubt that the earth is in a state of progressive moral spiritual decline. Christianity is slowly darkening on earth and will continue to decline as the number of Gentiles comes closer to fulfillment. There are three main schools of thought concerning Revelation 1,000-years:

Premillennialists–They see the passages as future prophecy, in which Christ’s second coming precedes the millennium and he reigns from the present Jerusalem. But according to Paul, the Jerusalem which now is, is in bo***ge under the law (slave Hagar) and belongs to those in that bo***ge. Being under the law then would resurrect the sacrificial offerings.

The second objection to this idea is that Jesus came to deliver his people from the law, not place himself and them back under the law (Jerusalem).

It must be noted that neither Jesus nor any of the apostolic letters speak of a period of a literal thousand-year kingdom on this present earth prior to a new earth and a new heaven. This is a thought not supported by scripture.

Postmillennialists–Postmillennialists see the passages as the world getting better and better with time. They believe the world will continue to improve until the world turns into God’s kingdom: heaven. Then Christ will come. They do not believe in a tribulation or a literal1,000-year kingdom.

Amillennialists–Amillennialists see the whole passage as a symbolic description of the present age, in which Satan is already bound and the dead in Christ are already reigning with him starting at Pentecost to his second advent. He said, “My kingdom is not of this world. If my kingdom were of this world, my servants would fight, so that I should not be delivered to the Jews; but my kingdom is not from here.” This is in harmony with scriptures.

Satan spiritually bound during the spiritual new covenant age. Revelation 20:1-3

Then Apostle John saw an angel coming down from heaven, having the key to the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand. He laid hold of the dragon, that serpent of old, who is the Devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years; and he cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal on him, so that he should deceive the nations no more till the thousand years were finished. But after these things he must be released for a little while.

FIRST EVENT
This event is of the redeeming fullness of time of Satan being spiritually bound with chains. His binding has its roots in the binding of the strong man, who must be bound before his goods (human souls) can be plundered. Humanity all their lives were subject to bo***ge of sin, over which he had the power of death.

Christ Jesus’s victory over Satan in the wilderness by commanding Satan to depart and his exorcism of demons demonstrated that he had bound the strong man, and that Satan was powerless to prevent the coming of the kingdom of heaven.

Our gospel is veiled to those who are perishing, whose minds the god of this age (Satan) has blinded, who do not believe, lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on them…. The veil is taken away in Christ. But even to this day, when Moses is read, a veil lies on their heart.

The words thousand years denotes the beginning of what I call the spiritual new covenant age during which time Christ Jesus destroyed the power of death over his chosen people so that the gospel can be spread throughout the world.

Here is how I believe the first three verses could read… Then John saw Christ Jesus (an angel) coming down from heaven, having the key to the limitless and never-ending power (bottomless pit) and a great restraint (chain) in his hand.

He laid hold of the dragon, that deadly, subtle, malicious spirit (serpent) of old, who is the slanderer and accuser (devil) and adversary (Satan), and set spiritual limitations and restrictions (bound) on him for the spiritual new covenant age (thousand years); and Christ Jesus cast him into the limitless and never-ending (pit), and shut him up, and set a seal on him, so that he should deceive the nations no more till the spiritual new covenant age (thousand years) were finished. But after these things he must be released for a little while.

This is the first of three-post dealing with the 1,000-years.

I have always heard that we were created in God's image, according to God's likeness. According to scripture, are we.

A question is raised, are we born in the image and according to the likeness of God? Scripture points to humanities total depravation. If this is so, how can anyone be saved.

08/14/2018

When reading scripture, why do we add thoughts, or substitute words, that are not in that particular verse? I'm guilty.

As an example, Matthew 26:27-28, Jesus said, "Then He took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, "Drink from it, all of you. For this is My blood of the new covenant, which is shed for many for the remission of sins."

When quoting this verse I heard people, even pastors, substitute the words "shed for the whole world" instead of Jesus's words "shed for many."

Jesus knew he must fulfill the Isaiah 53 prophesy to be who he said he is; "My righteous Servant shall justify many... he bore the sin of many."

What do you say?

The seventh trumpet contains seven bowls. As taught by denominations, these bowls are physical plagues of sores and oceans and sea turning into blood. Then they say the martyrs, not witnesses to the Gospel under the altar, are satisfied seeing the blood judgment.

Then the sun scorches people with intense heat where the atmosphere has been destroyed. They compare the darkening of a kingdom to Moses’ judgment against Egypt. Then a river dries up so an army can cross it and start an Armageddon. Then the final judgment features the destruction of Rome. On and on with terrifying apocalyptic events.

In my book, Revelation, the bowls are against nonbelievers only. The gospel brings judgment on them as evil, wicked, unclean, and defiled, where they are judged to the Lake of Fire. Finally they are gathered for judgment, and salvation is not offered to them. The seventh bowl brings God’s wrath, laws, and judgment against sin, political and religious leaders, and nonbelievers and unsaved.

Then the believers’ promised and glorious future is fulfilled.

The Revelation trumpets as taught by denominations are terrifying apocalyptic events of complete destruction of the world. My question is, why would God write a horror story to his people so scary that his own people don’t won’t to study it?

They teach the first 4 trumpets cause worldwide destruction, food shortages, and ecological devastation. They believe the disasters are natural events as warnings and judgments on all humanity. Why are Christians coming under judgment with nonbelievers?

Then they switch to the last 3 trumpet woes. This includes demonic alien invasion of the massacre of a third of humanity. And then the rest of mankind who were not killed by these plagues, did not repent. This was done to awaken the rest of the world that would be saved.

Didn’t God gave us the gospels and letters of the Apostles that warn us to repent and be saved. Why put his people through these seven trumpets so those that won’t repent, won’t repent? Didn’t the writer of Revelation, John write, to the seven churches which are in Asia: Grace to you.” Grace to you, now suffer a harried punishment from God.

05/26/2018

Have you ever studied Revelation trumpets as being supernatural? The majority of denominations won’t, so the odds are that you haven’t either. My scriptural findings don’t include terrifying apocalyptic events of complete destruction of the world.

In my book, Revelation, the first four trumpets teach nonbelievers are judged to the Lake of fire, nonbelievers are unclean and defiled, Satan’s bitterness against mankind, eternal life will come to an end for the nonbelievers, and a proclamations of condemnation against them.

Trumpet six is a prophecy about nonbelievers and unsaved, and about believers and saved. The latter are the enemies of the gospel of Christ Jesus, and Christ Jesus’ salvation will come to an end for them. The formal are written in the book of life, receive power to preach the gospel, and are persecuted for preaching it, just as we are today.

Trumpet seven tells about the end of the last days from spiritual Israel’s birth to the spiritual resurrection of believers to receive their reward and nonbelievers to judgment.
