Hardee County Animal Control is no longer accepting surrenders as of now, there are zero exceptions and this applies to healthy stray animals as well. If you happen to see a stray dog or cat that appears to be injured or severely ill please contact us then, but once again, no surrenders! We apologize if this causes an inconvenience to anyone but we are extremely full and over capacity. With that being said, please adopt or encourage others to adopt, we have small, medium, and big dogs here if anyone is interested.
