Hair Tinsel or Fairy Hair are silk sparkle strands added to hair, one or a couple hairs at a time, for a subtle, sparkling effect. Hair Tinsel is applied to an individual strand of hair using a tying technique. Hair Tinsel will last as long as the hair it is applied to stays with you. Generally, 3-6 weeks is average. The longest I've seen it last is about 12 weeks. If they last longer than a coupl

e of months, they may start to lose some of their color. Please note that younger children (under 5) tend not to last as long. There are no guarantees for how long they last, but I am happy to re-apply if you lose one the first day.,

Who can get Hair Tinsel? Anyone, as long as they are able to sit still in a chair unassisted. Recommended for children 5 and up! How long does it take to put in? Each strands generally takes 1-2 minutes depending on the age and patience of the consumer. Can I wash and style my hair with Hair Tinsel in? You can flat iron, curl, and process hair like normal. Because the strands are silk, they will not melt. How much does it cost?

I've had so many inquiries about Fairy Hair that I've decided to start a side gig. Read below for more info!

What is Tinsel by Tanya?

Hair Tinsel is applied to an individual strand of hair using a tying technique.
