We hope all of our Waukegan “Waukers” are having a great day despite it being so gloomy out.

We just want to let you know that we will NOT be meeting today. We’re getting a bit of rain right now and it’s looking like it won’t clear up until just after 8:30 tonight. We hope you’ll use this time until our next meet on Thursday to prepare for all of the amazing events happening in Waukegan this weekend.

Whether you’re celebrating Juneteenth or Pride Month, you’ll have many different options to choose from this weekend in downtown Waukegan! Let us know if you need help finding events. If not, we’ll see you this Thursday and this weekend for PrideWauk!

Happy Sunday, Waukegan! We hope you enjoyed the beautiful weather this weekend and were able to get out and about.

Unfortunately, we will be cancelling todays Downtown Wauking Club meet. It’s cold and gloomy outside, and the forecast shows that they’ll be rain in downtown Waukegan from 2PM-4PM.

We’ll let you all have the day off to relax today, but we’ll be back on Tuesday from 6PM-8PM to get Wauking!

Participants in Wauk Waukegan walk in groups or individually Tuesday and Thursday evenings, as well as Sunday afternoons, in downtown Waukegan for camaraderie, exercise or social interaction.

Holy cow! It’s beautiful outside! The Downtown Wauking club will be taking over Downtown Waukegan once again tonight from 6PM-8PM starting at ArtPark -Waukegan!

We will have these NEW maps/handouts available for you tonight. We have added a 3rd path, and some interesting sites to look out for while your walking.

Happy Tuesday, Waukegan Waukers!

Unfortunately we’re feeling a little under the weather today and we’re not quite sure what it is. We’d like to keep everyone safe so we’re staying home, but we encourage everyone to get out and enjoy the beautiful weather and take a walk downtown!

We’re still working on our new maps and some potential freebies to hand out to Waukers!

We just wanted to let you know that there will not be a check-in table for the Wauking Club today at 2PM! We are currently helping ArtPark -Waukegan recover from their awesome Grand Reopening yesterday!

Your Downtown Wauking Club hosts will be taking their walks later in the day today. We hope to see you at some point on this beautiful day walking around downtown!

We will be back with the check-in table, new routes, and good vibes this Tuesday from 6PM-8PM!
