The Original Bridal Decor Resale™ started in 2015 with the idea that Rustic Manor 1848 couples would have a safe place to sell to future Rustic Manor 1848 couples. This idea of brides selling wedding decor to other brides took off and before we knew it we were hosting not 50 person resales but 2,000+ person resales! We are excited to offe

Did you know that our first ever resale was hosted in 2015 at Rustic Manor 1848 ? We had 30 couples selling décor to what we thought would be a group of shoppers around 60-80 people. Word got out about @‌Wisconsin's Largest Wedding Rummage Sale and we had over 200 shoppers in attendance!
Needless to say, we needed to upgrade our space...fast! So we headed over to the Waukesha County Expo Center and never looked back. We're still, to this day, the largest wedding rummage sale in Wisconsin with buyers (and sellers) from across the state. It's our favorite event of the year!

Wondering how you can prepare for BDR as a seller? Here are our top tips:
This is a rummage sale. Price your items to SELL because no one wants to bring décor home with them!
Decide how you’ll be accepting payments from shoppers in advance. Bring some cash to make change and consider using Venmo or other secure payment apps instead of accepting checks.
Display your prices, we recommend 1 of 2 ways:
Little price stickers on each item for sale
Have a written or typed list of prices that you can refer to when shoppers are considering something at your table.
Bring images of your items in action! Show shoppers just how great your décor looked at your wedding!

A tote bag for carrying items you may purchase.
Cash! Most sellers will only accept cash but some will accept Venmo or PayPal.
Images from your wedding inspiration board so you can keep yourself focused on what fits your style best.
