We know it's tempting. You're measuring your laundry detergent and you pause. "Can that really be enough?" you think. "Hmm....maybe just another little glug..." We've all been there, but trust us, don't do it! High Efficiency (HE) laundry detergents are very concentrated and, while you might expect suds to equal performance, if you see suds, you are likely using too much soap! This can lead to residue build-up, nasty odors, and drain issues. Yuck! Instead, using 1 to 2 tablespoons of detergent is often sufficient for medium-sized loads.
