Summer is my FAVORITE time of the year simply because I get to be with my people!
A few weeks from now, they will all be back in school and my schedule will look much different. Leaving room for more time to create💕

This weeks transformation is of this sweet buffet. This girl required a lot of work. Structurally sturdy, yet had lots of spots that needed filled/repaired. At one point someone had added locks that were not true to the piece. I removed those, filled all holes, sanded & sanded. Due to the stains, holes filled & repairs to the top, I chose to paint the entire top white. The legs stained this warm tone for dimension. I personally love the look of distressed furniture because it helps to show natural wear to the piece and feels so honest. So I lightly distressed and finished with furniture wax.
The hardware that was original to this piece was stunning, but it wasn’t all there. So I found some that was similar to finish her.

This weeks transformation!
This vintage piece has some of the most amazing lines. Slight damage to the top was present and a few scuffs that needed repaired.
She was refinished with Country Chic Rocky Mountain as the color of choice and finished with Clear Coat.
I added new hardware to match the patina of the castors that were all in excellent condition.
Excited to get her back to her owner❤️

Transformation of this beautiful heirloom!
Such a stunning piece that simply needed refreshed. She had a bit of water and wear damage and needed some new washers and nuts to shore it back up.
Refinished back to her original beauty!!!
I stripped, sanded, stained & finished with three coats of Poly for everyday use.
The legs are something to see as well! I love the craftsmanship of old pieces simply because of the details💕
So grateful for clients who trust me with pieces like this!!

One thing I love about our small town is how much love and support there is. Praying for Marcela and the battle she is fighting now.

If you know me at all personally, you’ve probably heard me talk endlessly for the last 6 years about my love for her! She is a vital piece to our little family as she’s been our daycare provider since Irelyn was an infant. She was diagnosed with a very aggressive breast cancer this week & had to stop daycare immediately to start her chemo treatment. This has been extremely heartbreaking for us all here in Wauneta on so many levels. We want to rally around her & completely take away the financial burden so she can focus on getting better.
