ONE MONTH IN DOWNTOWN WAUPACA. 🥹❤️

I genuinely don’t even know how to put into words what this first month has meant to me.

In just ONE MONTH, we had 1,060 sales come through Shirley’s.

For perspective… that’s basically what I did in SIX MONTHS in Amherst. In one month.

And this might be the number I’m most proud of:

Between our discounts, free items, programs and giving back, we were able to put roughly $2,299.58 back into our community.

Over $2,000 in ONE MONTH.

That is exactly what I wanted Shirley’s to be.

Yes, we’re a thrift store. But I’ve always wanted this place to be so much more than somewhere you come to buy clothes. I wanted it to be somewhere families could afford to shop, somewhere people could get help when they needed it, and somewhere we could take what the community gives us and pour it right back into the community.

And you guys are literally making that happen.

Every person who has donated clothes. Every person who has shopped. Every person who has shared one of my posts, tagged a friend, liked, commented, told somebody about us, donated to one of our programs or simply walked through our doors YOU helped build this.

Shirley’s would not be what it is without you guys.

I took a huge chance moving this little thrift store to downtown Waupaca, and one month later, I am absolutely blown away by the way this community has welcomed us.

I’m over the moon. I’m thankful. I’m emotional. And there really aren’t words big enough to describe how it feels seeing something I dreamed about actually becoming what I hoped it could be.

1,060 sales.
$2,299.58 given back.
One incredible first month. ❤️
