🎉 TOSAFEST TURNS 50! 🎉

50 years of gathering right here in Tosa is pretty special. 🤎

TosaFest is one of those weekends that reminds us what we love about being part of this community — people filling the Village, music in the streets, familiar faces and neighbors coming together.

If you’re heading to TosaFest this weekend, make a day of it! Wander a little. Grab something to eat. Have a drink. And pop into the shops and businesses surrounding the festival, too. 🦊

SMALL BUSINESS TRUTH #2 🦊

Something as simple as losing convenient parking can completely change a day for a small retailer.

Construction happens. Communities grow and change. We get it. 🤎

But for a small business, even a few extra steps between the car and the front door can mean fewer people wandering in — and those little changes add up.

The good news? We’re still here. And we promise we’re worth the extra few steps. 😉

So if parking looks a little different right now, don’t forget about the small businesses waiting just beyond the construction.

Happy Labor Day from the Fox 🦊🤎

There’s a lot that happens behind the scenes of a small business that you never see.

Windows get changed. Boxes get unpacked. Displays get rearranged (and rearranged again 😂). Orders get placed. Floors get swept. Posts get made. Bills get paid.

And most days, the people who own the business are the people doing all of it.

That’s the thing about small businesses — there usually isn’t a department for everything.

There are just people.

People with an idea, working really hard to create something they hope adds a little something special to their community.

So this Labor Day, we’re celebrating all the people behind the counters, behind the scenes and behind the small businesses that make our communities feel like home.
