Today they started drying some Cacao beans on the roof of Miguel‘s house. We also visited the local school and were greeted by the students in the multi aged single room, School house. What a visit.

Another special stop on our Colombian cacao journey. Bosques De Cacao Yagueres is an amazing farm filled to the brim with biodiversity. We spent the day learning the journey of Cacao from the tree to the fermentation boxes to the drying beds and to Tabal Chocolate. we can’t wait to see where this journey takes us tomorrow.🇨🇴

Tabal Chocolate is the proud sponsor of the Colombian Serrania de los Yarigues Bumbles Creek Water Quality Research and Education Project. At Tabal we make every effort to support efforts to improve the water quality necessary for super premium cacao production. In September of 2026 the Tabal team will be traveling again to the gathering of hundreds of cacao farmers and researchers in the town of El Carmen de Chucuri to experience the flavours and gastronomy of cacao!

Dan is so pumped up with all that's going on here at Tabal, he simply can't contain it. We’ve been oh so patient for summer event season. And boy oh boy did we have a wonderful launch with and Art64!

Congrats to all the organizers, artists, and the amazing community that came to support such a unique event! We loved the atmosphere and vibes of the whole weekend! Plus, you helped us complete our interactive canvas “Faces of Tosa”. Such a creative and artistic community we have!!
