Finally got the disaster know as my studio purged and organized thanks to my bestie who lit the fire under me and showed up to get me a good jusp start. And to my daughter who helped me finish the job by keeping me focused when I wanted to chase butterflies 🤣Here is a before and after. Gave my husband the cubbie for his fishing feel repair and just a small collection of rods and lures. The trade was the side wall where all my shelves and blind box collectables will go. And yes, I need that much space.

When I was in art school in Sarasota Florida there was this old hotel, The Ringling Hotel, had been closed down for some time and I recently found out it was a favorite spot for people to sneak in and explore.
I'm not saying my friends and l did in the early 80's. I'm not saying we made our way through to the very top and the roof. I'm not saying we came home with some old porcelain hot and cold sink fixtures and some old Ringling Hotel plates and have them on display in my home. And l'm definitely not saying we went back one night to get some old French doors. I'm not saying we almost got caught by a night time security guard while hiding behind some of those trees with the big thorns. And l'm not saying we went home empty handed and never tried that again...not saying🤭

It's share music time. This will be our last concert for the year, #6 of six. This is Johnny Blueskies and the Dark Clouds, aka/Sturgill Simpson. As you could see from the other five we've seen, y'all may think this is not like the others. But, Sturgill is quite unique with a very interesting repertoire of music. This will be the second time seeing them, and we are preparing for another marathon concert of at the least two hours. Why so long you ask? Not only are they the feature group, but they are also the front group. It's like the neighborhood garage jam sessions I grew up with where everyone brings lawn chairs and spends a couple hours in the evening listening to the band jam. So give them a listen and I will report back in after the concert on October 27th😁

My plans for the month of October: finish reorganizing studio, comple two medical heart test out of five, attend audiance participation in costume of the Roaky Horror Picture show, #6 last concert for the year, Johnny Blue Skies and the Dark Clouds, Halloween, and ending the first weekend in November two day Renisance Fest.
