Hi everyone!
According to Facebook I haven’t posted anything in 105 days! Wow. I remember when I was showing up in this space several times a week, sharing thrift hauls and yapping in stories behind our check out counter at the shop. In some ways I miss that and in others, I don’t think about it much at all.
Life seems to be filled to the brim with other, worthy things right now. I don’t feel called to redo furniture and I haven’t tackled a DIY in quite some time. I’d rather write poetry or bake or watch my son play on the living room floor. It’s just where I’m at.
But, who knows what the future holds. As casually as it left, it could return the same way. Or in a new form I don’t know quite yet.
I’ve debated deactivating this account so people aren’t misled about my commitments here these days. But, for now, just wanted to share that:
1. We no longer have a retail space so you won’t find us in downtown Waverly. This has been the case since December 2023 🤪
2. We aren’t taking on any furniture consults right now. That may change this summer.
3. We hope you keep shopping locally and small as much as possible. It’s hard to make things work for many these days and they need all the support you can give.
