If you like family run businesses. Alamo as a company is the largest family run fireworks business in the state. As for this store specifically, my family and I operate it directly. I hire teens, tweens, family, and friends to help us with the operation of it all. We have employees working hard for savings, dates, play money, cars, and sports/school events.
If any part of you assumes we’re just a corporation and you’re not supporting the community, please feel free to come on out and speak with any of our staff about why they’re excited for the work/money.

People ask me what the coolest part of this gig is, and every time I’ll answer “the people”. I have made life long friendships with employers, employees, and customers. Today a gentleman I only know through firework sales came in and coin checked me knowing by my hat that my full time job is firefighting/ems. I pulled mine and we swapped coins for the second year in a row. To know that people I’ve grown to know and love are getting to enjoy their family and country by using product that I was able to provide, just thrills me to death.

Here at Alamo fireworks we listen to every comment made and all feedback given by you the community. We now have new shelving, new lights inside and out, new A/C units (Praise God), a newly paved parking lot, new store front signage, new product, and new prices! 20% off the whole store as well as deals for America’s 250th birthday! Pretty much the only thing left the same here is me and my family that make it all come together.

I’d like everyone to meet the best employee I have ever had work for me. This is ranger, and he’s in charge of literally everything that goes on here. Y’all come by today if you wanna say hi to him or even get a lick. Also he’s well behaved and on a leash if you or your kiddos aren’t necessarily big dog people.

When I was given the keys to this building, the very first thing I did was rip down the “no pets allowed” signs posted on the front door. If you can carry it, or walk it on a leash, it’s allowed in my store. I want to meet every dog, cat, lizard, snake, cow, or llama in this county if I can. I dont care if you have a watusi, if you can leash him, i wanna meet him. Valentine here makes the first pet of the season. We’re best buddies.
