We work on amps too! This was a really cool project our customer acquired. It’s an original 58’ Fender Champ that we replaced the speaker to preserve the original 1958 speaker so the customer could play it loud without worrying about ruining the vintage speaker. We also swapped the power cable to a three prong cable replacing the old two prong cable. Such a cool vintage tone and look! 🎸

Every day we are blessed with customers trusting us with their instruments and it’s an absolute honor to serve the community. But occasionally we get the honor of working on really rare guitars. This guitar is special. It’s a 1944 Gibson L7 that was one of 500 total instruments made by Gibson that year due to the factory turning most of its manufacturing to the war effort. This wartime Gibson belonged to the owners grandpa and for its age is absolutely stunning condition and echos the sounds of American exceptionalism. It brings the tones and sounds from the great generation and takes you right to a time that is long since passed. Due to the war and preparing for the American invasion of the beaches of Normandy most of the few instruments produced in 1944 were made by the “Gibson Girls”. They were some of the hardworking fearless women that not only kept the home fires burning. They also pulled double duty keeping American factories running to support our men that were fighting to liberate countries thousands of miles away to preserve our freedom and democracy. We would like share the sounds of history with you and hope you enjoy it as much as we do! 🇺🇸
