Today, we had the privilege of officially welcoming Bella Giada Boutique to Downtown Waxhaw with a ribbon-cutting celebration!

Opening a small business is no small feat. It takes incredible courage, hard work, dedication, and heart. We're so grateful that Thomas and Giulia chose to invest all of that—and themselves—right here in Downtown Waxhaw.

Owner Giulia shared that she calls Waxhaw home and has always been inspired by the charm, beauty, and welcoming spirit of our community.

She wanted to create a space where she could give something back to the town she loves. Even the boutique's name is personal—Bella is her daughter, and Giada is her granddaughter—a beautiful reminder that this business is truly rooted in family.

😂 We officially nominate Matt for Union County Water Crew of the Month.

Carolina Charcuterie & Catering shared this hilarious reel after weeks of construction impacts on W. North Main Street, and honestly…we appreciate the commitment to getting the road back open.

In all seriousness, while this County infrastructure project is extremely important for the long-term future of downtown, we know the construction, road closures, noise, dust, and traffic impacts have been incredibly challenging for our small businesses.

Please continue to support our downtown businesses during this construction season however and whenever you can. Grab lunch, shop local, share a post, leave a review, or simply make the extra effort to stop by.

They truly need and appreciate the support right now.
