Happy Wednesday all…

I’ve had a few months to reflect on life after almost dying and then losing my dad. I think when you are wrapped up in your own stuff, it takes a good wake up call to remember that other people are having the same kind of day you are too.

Yesterday, we all received the news that one of our very favorite people in town unexpectedly lost her husband and her younger boys lost their dad. I’ve been saying all along how lucky I am to have had my dad for 54 wonderful years and my heart hurts for those boys who won’t have that.

Please keep this family in your prayers as they navigate a new norm, as they move forward with their memories and as a community, let’s surround them with love.

❤️

If you haven’t gotten the chance to come see the new store, or you haven’t met her yet, this is Georgia… the Refind & Refresh store kitty! I honestly wasn’t sure how it would go, but she is wildly popular. People do come in just to pet Georgia or her sisters, Mabel and Hazel and people love walking by and seeing her in our windows and to me, that’s quaint and welcoming.

If you’ve ever thought about adopting a kitty, October is a Spooktacular time to check out the adoptable kitties from the Cats of Wayne County. Just think how much happier your store or office could be and how you have the chance to meet your next puurrrrrfect furry friend. 🐾🐈❤️🐾🐈
