You know that feeling when you do the right thing and someone does the right thing back and it gives you goosebumps?
I had that moment recently and I just have to share it.
I'm Jennifer. I've been hand collecting geodes from a creek in Kentucky since 1998. Just me, climbing down creek banks pulling beautiful hidden things out of the water.
A little while back a buyer was disappointed with something they received from me. The weight wasn't what they expected. They were right to be disappointed and I didn't argue for one second. I packaged up another box and sent it to them at no charge. Because that's what you do when you're wrong.
What happened next gave me goosebumps.
That buyer spent WEEKS trying to fix their feedback because of how I handled it. On their phone. On their computer. Calling eBay. Messaging me updates. All on their own time. All because they wanted to do the right thing too.
They didn't have to do any of that.
But they did.
And when they finally couldn't get the system to cooperate they said something I will never forget —
"I really do want to update this feedback for you."
There are still genuinely good people in this world. I keep finding them right here in this little geode business I built from a Kentucky creek bank.
