Today is a day that I really need to refresh both mentally and physically and I need a day to myself so Eclectic will be closed today, June 22.

I will be back 100% tomorrow!

The Dixie Belle order is expected tomorrow for those waiting on product.

Odyssey Scuba has been located at 225/227 Historic Route 66 since January of 2005. We opened in the same building in 2015 and have been asking the powers that be for a walk signal at the light ever since. Praise the Lord it's happening today.

The telegram
that started it all!

On April 30th, 1926 this telegram was sent from Springfield, MO to Washington DC regarding what to name the new highway going from Chicago to LA and this is why Springfield is considered to be the birthplace of Route 66.

There is a huge kickoff for the 100th anniversary of Route 66 in Springfield but we want to get in on the fun too.

Stop into Eclectic Originals at 225 Historic Route 66 E in Waynesville or Sweet Sam's on Route 66 starting tomorrow through May 9th and receive an entry for a gift basket filled with 66 items. Not just Route 66 items but a grand total of 66 items. Make a purchase for additional entries and we will also have some crazy sales for the next couple of weeks with some items 66% off.

We are also working on a fun interactive photo op that will be on Sweet Sam's patio so stay tuned for that.
