Just wanted to take a moment to mention that beloved long-time Bookcase Book Club leader Addie Ingebrand passed away on October 25. You can find her obituary in today’s Star Tribune (November 1). Addie touched so many people over the years, and her love and passion for literature was truly inspirational. We send much love to her family and friends.

Hey Bookcase Fans! It's been a while! Just wanted to pass on this notice from the famous Strand Book Store in New York City. They are really struggling right now, due to COVID-19, and have put out a plea for help. I've been spending a lot of time in NYC the last few years (although not since the pandemic started, obviously), and this has become one of my favorite places to go. If you are looking for something to read right now, please consider ordering from them!
