Welcome to Bella's Barn!
We are happy to let all our customers and friends know that our farm outlet store is now open every Friday and Saturday from 10am to 2pm. Take a look at our farm page at localharvest.org and also look at our BLOG site at adobefarm.wordpress.com - we think you will be pleasantly surprised.
We sell farm produce (always when in season); our own local raw honey; farm-fresh eggs (duck and chicken); our toiletry line of goat-milk soaps and lotions; our own hand-crafted candles; and a good assortment of hand-made crafts, such as baskets, felt purses, embroidery, quilling, greeting cards, art glass (hand-crafted paper on glass), our own art work, llama wool, decoupaged crafts, lots of woolen items (all hand-made), hand-crafted jewelry AND MORE. At present we have one of our books available: "Circle Gardening" by Ken Spaeth, PhD (also available at other book sellers). We will add our other books to the store as they become available from the printers/publishers.
In future we will add other arts/crafts to our line-up: i.e., pottery, more jewelry, more art work - whatever we feel like putting our energy to.
Adobe Farm is actually a small goat dairy - we have been farming this dairy since 2008. Spring is always the most fun time on any farm - babies bouncing around all over the place. Come and see us - farm visits by appointment only, please.
We will also announce workshops and instruction from time to time: Ken is a great cheese-maker, and Angela will teach basket-making, and other things (according to what the demand is).
Enjoy the pictures, and then make a plan to come out for a visit. We always say: Bring a small wad of cash, and we'll see what you can find.
