DAYTIME POSITION
Must have consistent availability 10:30 AM–4:30 PM
EVENING POSITION
Must have dependable evening availability until around 9:15pm.
Some weekend availability is a huge plus but not necessary for the daytime position.

We’re looking for people who want a fun place to work, but also understand that being reliable and showing up when scheduled matters.

Perfect for young adults, college students with consistent schedules, parents looking for daytime hours, or anyone looking for steady part-time work.

I love telling stories, I probably talk way too much! lol. But here’s a short story.

I started Funky Munky Shaved ice 12 years ago, in a trailer in the Junktion parking lot. The business started growing so I wanted to move in to a brick and mortar and added food (which I decided wasn’t for me, but hey I tried 🙈🤪 raise your hands if you miss those Funky Fries 🙌) a few years ago we had a family come to us wanting to open their own Funky Munky so we started researching franchising, now we currently have 7 families in 12 locations serving up smiles and creating yummy goodness for their own communities.

I received a sweet message this morning from a Weatherford customer showing me she noticed Funky Munky Galveston on a local map she picked up! Who would have thought we would be from Galveston to Gainesville….wait throw in Joplin, Missouri too! Joplin and a few others coming soon!🥰

We are growing slowly and organically which I think helps us enjoy it more. I just wanted to share with our people. Our people is you. 😆 You all have helped us grow, cheered us on and shared with your friends and family. We love you all!

First day of school! Whew! What a day for us! 😅

It’s always a little hectic, there’s always a little bit of a wait, but boy is it fun! I got to talk to a bunch of the kiddos today and hear all about their first day back. Most had terrific days, a few had a not-so-great day, and for those kiddos, we’re hoping tomorrow is much better! 🩷

Everyone was excited to get their sweet treats and tell us about their day, and EVERYONE was so patient and kind while we hustled to make each and every order exactly the way they wanted it.

We had an amazing day with all of you! But once the hustle and bustle was over, the laughs and giggles went quiet and the team started winding down for the night.

Everybody posts those cute “first day of school” pictures… but around here, we’re posting the “end of the first day back” pictures instead. 🤪😂
