Today, we have an important announcement to share with our Midwest Music family.
After more than 35 years of serving musicians, music educators, and school music programs across western Oklahoma and the panhandle, Midwest Music is entering a new chapter.
As Randy Hurst prepares for retirement, ownership of Midwest Music has transitioned to Oklahoma Music Co., a fellow Oklahoma family-owned music company with locations in Edmond, Norman, and Oklahoma City.
Throughout this process, Randy's priority was finding a team that would continue serving our customers, schools, and communities with the same care, respect, and commitment that Midwest Music has always been known for. We are grateful for the trust he has placed in Oklahoma Music Co. to continue that legacy.
While ownership is changing, our commitment to the communities we serve remains the same. The Enid and Weatherford locations will continue serving musicians, students, teachers, churches, and schools throughout western Oklahoma.
The same Midwest Music staff will continue serving our customers and school partners, and we're excited to combine their experience with the additional resources, inventory, repair support, and statewide service network of Oklahoma Music Co.
We are incredibly grateful to Randy, our staff, our directors, our customers, and the generations of families who have trusted Midwest Music over the years. Your support has built something truly special.
As part of this transition, Midwest Music is now part of the Oklahoma Music Co. family, creating a statewide network of five Oklahoma locations serving musicians and music educators across our state:
Edmond • Norman • Oklahoma City • Enid • Weatherford
