Main Street Gallery

Main Street Gallery Exhibits original fine art in a variety of mediums by regional artists. Would you like to be a docent? We need volunteers to help us run the gallery.

Inventory of fine art craft including, ceramics, wood work, textiles, jewelry and fine art note cards. In March 2011, ten women artists in Trinity County launched an effort to keep the Main Street Gallery alive. The community generously supported their efforts, and on July 1, 2011, the group became the owners and managers of the gallery. Gallery hours: Tuesday-Sunday, 11 to 4. Hours are flexible. We offer training and an in-house discount on purchases. Call us or send an email to [email protected] for more information.

Doug Souza is our featured artist in August. The subjects and mediums of his art are surprisingly varied, and he always chooses images that excite and inspire him. He sees paintings in his mind wherever he goes, including the medium to use. One of the pieces in his show was created with yarn found inside a baseball, but more commonly he uses oil, watercolor, scratchboard, pencil, or other medium.
