We made a little more progress today…

Today’s progress, thanks to my brother, Rob Garrett. I still need five more “power” words. What do you recommend? Rob’s ideas of crazy and erratic might describe me, but don’t seem to fit the theme!

For those of you who haven’t seen it, I started repainting the hopscotch in front of the library. We will be working on it this weekend and hopefully it will be done soon enough for you to hop on indoors to get a book!

Thank you so much to all who participated! I love to see the young artists brightening up our town! If you missed the contest, you can ALWAYS borrow some of my chalk and decorate up my sidewalk!

Hello, my friends! I am getting July's calendar in order, and am excited to get back into the swing of things for the summer. I hope you've all had fun with all those outdoor activities that keep us busy and restore our spirits. When it gets too hot, or you need a change of creative pace, consider coming on down to visit the studio. It's nice and cool inside!

Last weekend these gals came in to learn about refinishing the tops of these stools. We started from the very beginning, from sanding, washing and priming, to the design and final finish. They turned out beautifully! The guide was the sunflower picture. (And no, I did not make a stool sample, but I appreciate your brain going there!😆)
I will be having a chair painting class in May, if you are interested.
