It’s official. The store is under new ownership. Gary and Carol Phelps are the new owners. The new name is Main Street Country Store and features the wonderful maple products from Phelps Family Maple.
They feature all sizes, even gallons. Plus amazing flavors like cinnamon and bourbon barrel aged maple syrup. Stop by and check it out.

We are pleased to announce the sale of Karen’s County Store to Gary and Carol Phelps. They own the Phelps Family Maple Farm, one of our premium product offerings. Our last day is March 29th the Phelps take over April 1st.
Wayne and I thank our great customer friends (from near and far) for the support everyone has provided. Going forward Wayne can play more golf. We plan to travel more and initially I will be there to assist Gary and Carol as they begin their new adventure.
The Phelps Announcement of the purchase is coming soon. A new name and their exciting plans for the store will be announced soon.
On a personal note, thanks to the entire Wellsboro Community and our many friends and customers who provided financial and emotional support for our son as he continues his battle with a brain tumor.
Congratulations to Gary and Carol! We wish them the best in this new adventure.

Happy New Year!
Our winter hours will begin January 2nd and end March 31st. We will be open Thursday, Friday , and Saturday from 10:00 to 5:00 weather permitting. In case of bad weather, call before coming in to make sure we are open. Closings will also be posted on Facebook. 570-723-0917
