Tech tip. When warming up your saw before use run it with the chain brake off bump the trigger a few times to accelerate and let it drop back to idle. Do this several times to check that the unit is working properly. Check that the chain brake and kill switch are functioning. This will have the added benefit of adding a little extra oil to the chain before starting to cut.
What not to do is leave your saw running in the high idle position with the chain brake engaged. Heat damage will happen very quick and make the saw unable to be used like the photos following this. This was a new saw first use and it sustained major damage due to this type of warm up.
Bright blue clutch drum melted plastics damaged oil line and oil pump the sprocket bearing had melted away and was missing. Most of all be familiar with the equipment before use.

The first day of the sale was a huge success! I moved a ton of equipment out the door today! Thank you to all my customers for being patient while I was getting new units ready. It got a little hectic today but I am looking forward to the next 4 days of this sale.
