I hope yall don't get tired of seeing this hat/sweater combo because it's my new fave!

I was inspired by the mossy mushroom sweaters made by Wickedly Handmade & The Twisted Hatter to make my own version. My goal was to make it look like a moss & mushroom covered stone wall. It goes so well with this hat, too! Together, I spent at least 60 hrs making these, but I think the time & effort paid off. I'm so happy with the end result 🥰🌿🍄🤎

Pattern & info:
🧶 That hat is a mash up of 2 patterns: the Twisted Bleeding Tooth hat and the Twisted Toadstool hat. Both patterns are by the Twisted Hatter
🧶 The sweater is the Wild Oleander hexagon Cardigan.The moss is surface crocheted onto the finished sweater using Keche Fluffy yarn in grass green
🧶 The mushrooms are from the Twisted Kitty pattern from the Twisted Hatter
🧶 The yarn for the base sweater is Premier Hipster Cotton in Dunes.The mushrooms are made from some random brown tone worsted weight yarns from my stash. I'm pretty sure they're mostly Just Yarn worsted value and/or Big Twist Value

I am obsessed with this sweater & hat combo 🍄🥰
I made both of these to enter them into my County Fair, which is rapidly approaching! Combined, I spent at least 70 hrs on these 2. I'm hoping they will win me some ribbons, along with the other things I am entering. Of course, I will be sharing the results here with you after the Fair, so stay tuned 🥰🤞🏆💙

IMO, no sweater is complete without some moss & mushrooms 🌿🍄🧶

I was inspired Wickedly Handmade to make a Mossy Mushroom covered Wild Oleander Hexagon Cardigan. The Dunes colorway of this Yarns Hipster Cotton was giving me vibes of stone, so I went with brown toned mushrooms to give the feeling of a mossy, mushroom covered stone wall. I'm super happy with how it turned out! My plan is to enter it into my County Fair in about a week and a half, so here's hoping it wins me a blue ribbon 🏆💙

While there are patterns for the sweater & the mushrooms, there is not a pattern showing you exactly how to make your sweater into a mossy mushroom version. I'll list the info I used below in case y'all wanna make one of your own

The Raven School Cardigan: Over the Garden Wall version 🎃🍁🍂🖤

Pattern: Raven School Cardigan

I made this one to be like Enoch 🎃It's made in 2 different greens mimic Enoch's colors , and i used orange trim to be like the pumpkin head he wears. I used 4 different patches from Etsy, including the Enoch patch on the back as the focal point. Then, I surface crocheted the words, "You'll join us someday" on the back in orange. I really like how this sweater turned out. I ended up finishing it in November of last year, so I kinda missed getting to wear it for Halloween. This year, I'm hoping to get it the love it deserves 😁
