EARLY BIRD GETS THE BASS. 🌅

If you’re willing to get up before the sun, you can often take advantage of one of the best feeding windows of the day.

Early morning means lower light, cooler water, and active bass — especially during warmer months.

🎯 Start shallow.
🎯 Look for baitfish activity and signs of bass feeding.
🎯 Check points, laydowns, grass edges, and rocky areas.
🎯 Use a bait that lets you cover water quickly while the fish are active.
🎯 And most importantly… be ready! That morning bite can disappear fast.

Sometimes the hardest part of catching them is simply getting out of bed. 😂🎣

🌿 FISH THE COVER — THAT’S WHERE BIG BASS HIDE.

Big bass don’t always want to sit out in the open. They use cover to stay protected, ambush bait, and conserve energy.

When you find docks, laydowns, brush piles, rocks, or grass edges, slow down and fish it thoroughly.

🎯 Get your bait close to the cover.
🎯 Make accurate casts.
🎯 Work it slowly.
🎯 Keep your bait in the strike zone.

Sometimes the cast you’re tempted to make away from the nasty stuff is exactly the cast that costs you your biggest fish. 😏

When the bite gets tough, slow everything down.

A finesse worm is one of our favorite choices because it gives pressured bass a natural presentation they can’t resist.

✔️ Long casts
✔️ Light line
✔️ Let it sink
✔️ Small twitches
✔️ Be patient

Many anglers move the bait before the bass ever gets a chance to commit.
