oor space as home for their local farmers market. The market has a commercial grade kitchen that is ideal for cooking classes or catering services. Pybus Public Market is located just two blocks east of historic downtown Wenatchee at the convergence of the Apple Capital Loop Trail, iconic Riverfront Park & Orondo Boat Basin. It is open 7 days a week, 362 days a year.

We are excited to announce our September artist Ellen Bruex! Her show will be up for the month of September with an artist reception on September 4th from 5-7pm.

Ellen Bruex is an interdisciplinary visual artist, muralist, and art educator based in Wenatchee, Washington. Her work explores the intersections of public space, play, community, and everyday visual experience. The paintings in this exhibition are inspired by her recent interactive public mural, located in Downtown Wenatchee along Orondo Ave. between Pybus and Wenatchee Ave. Drawing from the mural’s colors, forms, and imagery, these works bring fragments of the larger public artwork into a smaller scale — a piece of downtown that can come home with you. Bruex teaches at Wenatchee Valley College, Wenatchee High School, and in her own studio, with courses spanning figure drawing, art history, art appreciation, illustration, and mural-making.
