The drought of 2026 brought a different kind of lesson at Lake Wendell Farm. When the rain doesn't come, the work doesn't stop. Water has to be managed, equipment has to run, and every decision matters.
For Jason, spending time in the fields with Randy was a reminder that understanding to***co means understanding the people, the land, and everything that happens long before the leaf ever reaches a cigar maker.
