Spanish Cobs from the Lucayan Beach Wreck!

The Lucayan Beach Wreck was discovered August 1964 by Four Americans in the waters off Freeport, Grand Bahama Island.
The 4 divers conducted a water sports business based at the Lucayan Beach Hotel and the discovery was made in only 10' of water less than a mile from the hotel.

This was one of the most significant finds in numismatic history.

This was the wreck of the Dutch Pirate Piet Heyn who had captured the entire Spanish Fleet at Matanzas Bay, Cuba in 1628. It's known 2 of the captured vessels were lost at sea during their return voyage and these are from one of those 2 ships.

That makes this the only certified pirate treasure find known. There are no other numismatic shipwreck finds that can be attributed directly to Pirates.

It's that time of year again for my absolute favorite show of the year. The Collectorama Show in Lakeland, FL.

In the 90's when I was selling Beanie Babies, this was the first coin show I attended. Partnered with Brian Beardsley we did the show several years selling Beanies. In the early to Mid 00's as an owner of PCI Coin Grading Service, we setup at this show several times. About a decade later I setup a few times working for Andrew Charboneau and now I've come full circle and I'll be setup myself again alongside my good friends Michael and Diane LeMay.

You'll be able to find us at tables at D411-D413. Collectorama is the official start of the Summer Coin season in Florida, followed by the FUN show in Orlando, Fl the following week.

Though this is a Business show, dealers will be in from around the US selling Coins, Paper Money, Precious Metals, Antiques and other Collectibles to the public.

If you've not been to the show, I highly recommend it and consider getting there early as the 1st 100 people through the door get a free gift as well as all kids 12 and under.

***PSA: COMMUNITY SCAMMER ALERT***
Calling out Calistackers Bullion for fraud, I I caught them setting up a scam BUYERS BEWARE UNTIL THIS IS RESOLVED.

They have a 1904 PCGS MS64 listed for sale on their page for $475 and a 1904-o NGC MS67 for $3285 - NO NOT BUY THESE COINS!
I sold both of these coins last year and both for far more then they have them listed for and I did NOT sell them the coins. They have them listed using MY photos copied from my company page . His fake pics and my real pics copied below

They were called out just recently for scamming someone else as well. Copy of that post below.

I confronted them via PM and was immediately blocked

REPEAT - DO NOT BUY FROM @ Calistackers Bullion until this is resolved. Please post this to your groups and pages - Let's try to stop them NOW.
