Well guys… this page has gotten a lot of new followers over the year so I figured it was time for another reintroduction! 🥰

For those of you who are new here (and those of you who have been here since the beginning)… my name is Bethany Schimke and I am the owner and florist here at 2nd & Bloom!

I’m a small-town girl, wife, mom, dog mom to one very large Great Pyrenees named Georgia, coffee drinker, plant hoarder, and the person behind the flowers at 2nd & Bloom 😂😁

Around here, you’ll find me doing a little bit of everything…designing wedding flowers, making sympathy pieces, preserving flowers from some of life’s biggest moments, growing plants in the greenhouse, dreaming up my next business idea, and occasionally wondering why I thought I could fit 47 things into one day. 😅

Flowers have given me the opportunity to be part of some incredibly special moments in people’s lives
the happy ones, the heartbreaking ones, and all of the ordinary days that deserve flowers too. That’s probably my favorite part of what I do. 🥰

2nd & Bloom has changed and grown right along with me, and I’m pretty excited about where this little Floral Studio is headed!

So excited about this for our beautiful little community!

🧡 Wessington Springs is going on the map!

We are excited to welcome the National Pheasants Forever organization to Wessington Springs on October 16 & 17 as they film their Opening Day film right here in our community!

Join us Saturday morning, October 17, on Main Street as we roll out the ORANGE carpet and welcome pheasant hunters to town! The morning will include the FFA Breakfast on Main Street, a live podcast filming with Bob St. Pierre, a roundtable discussion, along with Main Street businesses open!

This is an exciting opportunity to showcase Wessington Springs, our community and our pheasant hunting traditions on a national level.
