This is a friend of mine that does laser engraving work.
We got a pretty cool request from the FBI Joint Terrorism Task Force: custom plaques for an agent wrapping up their assignment with the team.
The Special Agent in Charge sent us a picture of what they were currently using and asked the question every woodworker secretly dreams of hearing:
“Can you do better?”
We replied, “Absolutely.” 😎
Challenge accepted.
So we took the assignment, turned the craftsmanship dial up a few notches, and went to work. Because when you’re making something to recognize someone who spent their time chasing bad guys, “good enough” just isn’t going to cut it.
We’re pretty damn proud of how these turned out—and even more proud to play a small part in recognizing the people who do some seriously important work behind the scenes.
Apparently, the FBI has discovered that we don’t just make cool stuff… we make classified-level cool stuff. 😂🇺🇸
