We competed again in the Outdoor NATS competition for HH Catapult Gliders. The weather was damp and windy. Overall, Brad finished 9th and Bruce finished 16th. Maybe next year we make a DLG and also try Hand Launched? What a blast!

Kyle Boyer is an amazing inspiration to paper airplane designers around the world. I have noticed his talents 4 years ago and I’m pleased to see his channel, Foldable Flight, has grow to 300k+ subs! AMA interviewed him today and it is worth a watch!

I love this short video. Because it shows Ross Clements struggling to trim his AMA Cabin. I have featured Ross before as a brilliant kid who is going places. This vid shows that obtaining a new (and long outstanding) record is not easily obtainable. With his hard work and dedication, he did get it trimmed to perfection that day and set a new record which will stand for decades! Good job Ross on your spectacular achievement!

This is Nighthawk Gliders first National outdoor competition at NATS In Muncie, IN. Our first contest model called the “Honey Buzzard” maxed out the very first two launches! But unfortunately, something got horribly out of trim and the struggle was real to get the third max flight of 120 seconds. We’ll ignore the two terrible launches of #4 and #5. Anyway, the end result was that we placed 14th out of a tough field of 30! This was so fun and we will certainly be back next year!

Our last absurdity in numbers— Traveling 1,168 miles (round trip) to Atlanta to deliver all 28 cases! It’s been quite the journey from start to finish! Thanks to PowerUp Toys for giving us the opportunity to share our product around the world and a special thanks to everyone who bought one! 😊 Wait, what? We just got an order for 5 more cases? Oh, boy! Here we go again! 😳😂😝
