Stuff and Things at The Old School We started the business in 1972 and have changed with our customers throughout the years. New items By that time. My sister comes up most days to help me.

Stuff and Things began in 1972 with my Mother, Father, and Sister. In 1975 I joined the crew and made it the complete family affair. In the 1980s Dad passed away and Judy decided she wanted to do something else for awhile. At that time the shop was moved to the 4 Corners in West Berkshire, after a couple seasons it was clear the shop wasn't big enough and I reopened the downstairs at the School Ju

dy ran this one for Mom and I and I ran the one on the corner until 1992. our Mom had passed away and Judy decided to move to St. Albans, at that time, the shop was completely moved back to the Old West Berkshire schoolhouse where it remains today. Please stop by to check us out or just say hi!

Ok everyone! I’m (Janet) at it again! Sorting and adding tons new books and Stuff! Searching for some 24-26 inch bookshelves to utilize space under the edge of tables! Got the horror/suspense/ thriller done! We have over 100 boxes of books to go through and put out. Plus 100’s of boxes of cool stuff. AND I’m still getting stuff! Filled moms van and my brothers crossover today! Keep coming! Tons to watch for! OVER 1,000 BOOKS OUT RIGHT NOW!

Hi all! Janet here. The majority vote was for flat rate listings so that’s what we’re starting with!

All things will be listed here first so our followers and customers have first dibs. After about a week (we’ve learned I’m not always on time for shop stuff, lol), items that have not sold here will be listed on marketplace and eBay.

As I list items, they will no longer be in the shop. Share, share, share! Follow us to see items before the general public!

Purchased items will be available at the shop on Sat and Sun 12-4 or in Essex on Mondays unless other arrangements are made. Any item not picked up the weekend after winning will be relisted. I have added my email for contact as moms doesn’t always work. All postings will have an end date.

Rainy days are made for shopping! Stuff and Things is open today and tomorrow from 12-4, Sat the 18th and Sunday the 19th. Special little sale both days to add a bit of cheer! Come say hi to Mom! Remember, she's retiring at the end of this season!
