A good bite today, bluefish and stripers reported on the bayside beaches on bunker, clams and plugs. The best surf fishing we've seen here in quite a few years.

This 27" striper was caught today (released) on a bayside beach. Good numbers of bass and blues cruising the beaches .

Tomorrow, Friday May 15th, marks the opening of black sea bass season. 10 fish per angler at 12.5 inches or bigger until June 21st, after that it's 1 fish at 12.5 inches until Sept 22nd. We have fresh, salted and red clams in quarts and pints available for sea bassin'.
