A gentleman contacted me regarding the sale of his and his late brother's childhood toys, which have been stored in their basement since their youth. It’s been a great weekend! I can't believe I have a Gi Joe Cobra Missile Command Playset! Some highlights also include Million dollar man and Sasquatch Grail, Gi Joe figures and play-sets, Star Wars figures and play-sets, complete in box N64, 2 Phillips CDI consoles with TONS of CD-i games(rarely seen), PlayStation 1 complete in box and more.

My brother and I went to an Estate sale yesterday morning. Originally we were going for video games. We got there hours early because the competition is real. Come to find out two guys slept the night in their cars to be first in line. 🤦‍♂️ we ended up being 4th and 5th in line. Door opened at 9 am and both guys went straight for the games and we lucked out. I’m glad I went through the pictures of the sale prior. I knew there were old shirts near the games and also some toys. I was so glad to take these home and sealed Pokemon fossil packs. Paid $2 per shirt and $15 for the Pokémon packs. We also scored some random toys for dirt cheap. Glad we decided to stay after all!

I've had an incredible time last weekend and this week with some amazing finds! 🤩

First, I got a Super Nintendo and a bunch of games from a Navy guy who was moving to Greece. 🎮

Then, I found another batch of games at a garage sale. You know I always ask for what I'm looking for. This sale just happened to be the last one before I headed home. I asked the seller if he had old video games, and he pulled out three big boxes full of retro games that had been stored away for over 20 years! 📦🕹️ In those boxes, I discovered a rare Jungle green N64 console, games, a sealed Kobe court side for N64, a Super Nintendo, and a Super Nintendo junior console with tons of games and manuals. There were also regular Nintendo games and a console, as well as some Atari stuff (although not pictured). 🌟

The third find, which actually came before the garage sale, was from a guy on Facebook Marketplace. He had SEALED Nintendo 64 games and complete-in-box 64 games. We had arranged to meet, and to be honest, I was skeptical. Sealed games at such low prices? I thought to myself “They have to be fake”. I almost called it off, but at the last minute, I decided to take a chance, and it turned out to be a chance of a lifetime. To my surprise, they were all authentic! 😱 Only one of the two sealed Mario Tennis games will not only cover my initial investment but also bring in a profit of at least double! 💰and it still leaves me with all the other games that are all profit!

This goes to show that if you put your mind to it, you can find treasures where you least expect them. These amazing finds are still out there waiting to be discovered! 🌈🎮

This incredible find unfolded just 3 miles from my place during a small-scale community garage sale. What are the odds of finding these when there were only 7 homes with sales!?

I was already there yesterday ( Thursday) and we went again today to see if any other homes were open. Only 1 other home had opened. We stopped and per usual, we look around and ask
“Do you have any video games?”They pulled out a box that were mainly Xbox (console too), ps3 games and the guitar hero guitar. I scored a few games and the guitar 🎸! It was a good start!

We left to check if other sales were open and they were the same homes as the day before. So I went back to check if they would sell me the Xbox alone but they wouldn’t budge on the price so I had to pass. However they mentioned finding another game and it was NCAA Football 14!! The most expensive NCAA game with comps of $75-$80! Obviously I bought it 😎

Before I left, I asked “I’m also looking for action figures” that’s when they mentioned that a friend was on their way with stuff to sell and that there where She-Ra toys still in the package! I waited patiently in my car and after about 20 minutes they arrived with the toys!

Backstory: we had a garage sale a week ago to clear some Inventory and there were two gentleman who bought from my sale. They were at the same sale I was at waiting for the She-ra toys. They where browsing but I had already bought games from this sale. They didn’t buy anything and left. Had they asked if there were toys, surely they would’ve waited! That is the importance of asking for items you’re looking to buy! Their oversight became my triumph, as their overlooked question about toys led me to an army of She-Ra figures, a steal at the offered price.

This story underscores the value of simply asking for what you're hunting for and highlights the treasure trove that lies in unexpected places. The lesson? Keep asking, keep hunting. Your next great find could be just a question away.

Garage sale season is in full swing, and I struck gold!

I was out at a sale that had a bunch of toys for kids and stumbled upon a table with men's shirts. While I found a vintage Star Wars shirt, it didn't seem all that special at first.

So I asked the owners if they had any old video games for sale. They mentioned they had Nintendo stuff from Super Nintendo to GameCube, but they weren't ready to sell until they spoke to their kids. This sale was not looking good!

But wait, it gets better! As I was about to pay for my one measly shirt, I saw another shirt draped over a chair behind the owners. It had an unmistakable "Changes" tag and a bald head with fire around it. I had to have it!

The owner said he didn't know how it got mixed in with the sale items and had already taken it off the table, but I had to try. I told him I was a Star Wars fan and wanted to buy it. He said it would cost more than the other shirts, at least $2. I was game and forked over the cash, along with my contact info for the Nintendo games.

When I got home, I looked up the shirt and I couldn’t believe it. Can you guess how much it's worth? A whopping $525, with some active listings at $600! I also scored a ps Vita with games, A PSP with games and a Sega game gear with other miscellaneous vintage shirts from other sales. Talk about a great start to the season.

I recently came into possession of an incredible childhood video game collection that has left me utterly speechless. The anticipation of meeting with the owner had been building for over a month, and when we finally met, I had no idea what to expect.

Initially, I was shown a few photos of a box of Nintendo games and magazines, but the pictures were partially covered, leaving much to be desired. Despite my reservations, we proceeded to inspect the collection in person, and that's when things took an exciting turn.

As we rummaged through the boxes in his basement, the owner revealed that there was more to the collection. I couldn't believe my eyes when he produced mint original NES game boxes, countless games, manuals, paperwork, an abundance of Nintendo Power magazines, rare Nintendo Club stickers, and even brand new NES controllers still in the box.

It was a treasure trove of epic proportions, and I was thrilled to have the opportunity to take it all home. But the question remained: how did it all stay in such impeccable condition? It turns out that the owner's grandmother had amassed the collection during his childhood with the intention of giving it to him when he was older. When she passed away, the collection was handed down to him. With his family unlikely to use any of it, he made the difficult decision to part with the collection, which ultimately became my incredible new acquisition.
