The SOCOM COMMANDER is a 4.25" Commander-length 1911 built around the same thing we’ve been focused on since 1968: doing the work ourselves and doing it right.

The specifications tell you what the SOCOM Commander is. They don't tell you what goes into building one.

Our parts are American made, and we do not use MIM parts. Major components are engineered and machined here in Perry, Missouri. Experienced hands fit, blend, finish, and assemble each pistol. Every finished gun is inspected and live-fire tested before it leaves the shop.

That takes time.

And time is one of the things you're paying for.

We’ve said it before; an Ed Brown isn't inexpensive, and we don't pretend otherwise. We also don't believe every shooter needs one. There are plenty of good pistols that cost less and will do the job.

What we will tell you is what goes into ours.

We stay focused on the 1911 because that's what we've been doing for nearly sixty years. One family, one platform, and a name on the slide that we have to stand behind.
