This really resonated with me.

We live in a world where so much arrives on a screen and disappears almost as quickly. A letter or a card is different. You can hold it, display it, tuck it away and find it again years later.

Perhaps that is why snail mail—and handmade cards in particular—matter more than ever. A card may take only a moment to open, but the thought, time and care behind it become something the recipient can keep.

A little Crisp Cantaloupe inspiration!

Crisp Cantaloupe is one of the new 2026–2028 In Colors, and I love its warm, soft peachy tone. This is one of my In Color Club cards, filled with layers, butterflies, greenery and thoughtful details.

The original design was created by Narelle Farrugia, and I adapted her idea to create my own version. One of the things I love about our crafting community is that it's absolutely okay to CASE a card (Copy and Selectively Edit) — just be sure to give credit to the original designer when you can.
