This year, one of our trees will tell a different kind of story.

Some of you may (or may not) know, but the owner of Mr. Greentrees, Lyra Marble, lost her home in the Pacific Palisades fire. Losing her home also meant losing every Christmas ornament she and her young son had collected over the years. For her child, the upheaval has been especially hard.

So, to breathe new life into their Christmas, Lyra and some members of our team have started making new, quirky, ornaments by hand.

Paper, clay, yarn, glue, glitter. Simple, playful, and imperfect in the best way. Crafted by our team and our community, with love and intention, to bring a little magic back into the season and remind us all that Christmas is in the heart.

This tree is not about perfection. It is about comfort. About slowing down. About choosing handmade over mass-made, care over convenience, and community over everything else.

Thank you to everyone who is helping to make this season a little brighter. Proof that sometimes the most meaningful decorations are the ones made together.

We can’t wait to share with you all how the tree turns out!
