Good Afternoon Barn Quilt Family! It appears that fall has delayed a bit in arriving to these old mountains. However, I have good news, autumn appears to be making a rather startling debut on Saturday! According to local weather sources, after having record breaking highs for the last couple of days, the high on Saturday will be 58 degrees with a low of 49. We may even see a bit of drizzle Saturday night into Sunday, which is wonderful considering we have been dry as "last years bird's nest." Just in time, our friends at the West Jefferson Business Association and the Ashe County Farmers Market, have scheduled the 2019 Fall Festival for Saturday! Grab your snuggly sweaters and scarves and come out to help us celebrate the season. The changing leaves, the cooler temps and the laughter of wonderful folks are an added bonus to my favorite time of year.
