This seminar introduces practical ergonomics strategies designed specifically for landscaping professionals to help reduce fatigue, prevent common injuries, and improve overall efficiency on the job. Attendees will learn simple, effective techniques for lifting, prevention excercises to reduce strain injuries, tool use, equipment setup, and task rotation. **UPDATE ON THE ELECTRIC LEAF BLOWER REBATE PROGRAM**
The Office of Energy Resources (OER) has an exciting update to the RI Electric Lead Blower rebate program. Applicants can now receive up to 5 rebates over the lifetime of the program. Eligible businesses can receive $1,500 or 75% (whichever is less) of the cost of an electric leaf blower and related batteries. If your business is located in Central Falls, Pawtucket, Providence, Westerly, or Woonsocket, where the highest rates of asthma-related emergency department visits occur, you get an additional $250. RINLA can help you fill out the application and compile the supporting documents. Link to the program website is in our bio.

This is a great opportunity to get an electric leaf blower and two additional batteries for virtually nothing. Reach out to RINLA [email protected] if you need help connecting with a local vendor.
