The weather was perfect, the wine was great, the flowers were stunning and the company was even better. Tonya and Grace of Stone Circle Flowers chatted about growing flowers while guests created a beautiful arrangement using their pesticide free flowers grown right here in South Kingstown.

Thank you to everyone who came out and joined us yesterday evening. It is incredibly important to support local flower growers. It not only stimulates local economies but there is a significantly smaller carbon footprint when purchasing local flowers over imported, pesticide ridden blooms you see at grocery stores. You are also supporting local pollinators, too!

Soooo you are pretty much saving the planet when buying a local bouquet 😉

☀️ We’ve got a heat wave headed our way which means we’re adjusting our hours for the week! And just a reminder we will be closing at noon on Wednesday through July and August.

💦 During this heat wave be sure to water early in the mornings.
✂️ Avoid pruning or transplanting anything.
🌿 Skip fertilizing until the weather cools down.
⛱️ Consider moving hanging baskets and planters that are in direct sun into the shade for a couple of days.
❤️‍🩹 Some plants may get some burn on the leaves but they’ll be okay!
