Weigh-ins are over! Congrats to the team of Dustin McMasters and Taylor Brandon with a total weight of 57lbs 11oz!! They also had the big flathead at 23lbs 1oz!!
Shane Riggs and Matt Kauffman were the second place team and brought home the big Channel sidepot with 8lbs 1oz!

Good fishing and we will do it again on Aug 22nd!

Also the Ridgewood Lady Generals Volleyball team asked us to be a part of their discount card fundraiser. See your favorite Lady General to get your discount card and enjoy a free pack of waxworms with the purchase of a dozen nightcrawlers from us and other great discounts from local businesses!!

Happy 4th of July weekend!! We are in the shop with everything you want or need to wet a line between the hot dogs and fireworks!! We are stocked up on minnows, goldfish, nightcrawlers, waxworms, and liver plus all the artificial baits and tackle to have a successful weekend!! Come and see us!!

Fred’s dad figured out the date for the next tournament so he’s going with July 18th!! If you don’t want to wait that long our friend at Saltfork Outdoors in Kimbolton is doing a tournament this coming weekend!! Check out his flyer and mark your calendars!!
Just a reminder Fred’s will be closed next week but the bait fridge out front will be stocked up with nightcrawlers, waxworms, and liver!

The results are in! Sounds like it was a slow night on the water but Dustin and Dave McMasters were able to land a 15lb flatty and a couple others for 27lb 8oz total and Terry and Heather Whited brought back a couple twin channel cats at 7lbs 7oz to get the big channel pot!
We will be doing another tournament in July once Fred’s dad figures out a date!
We want to wish everyone a happy Fathers Day from the Fred’s team!!

Tomorrow is the day!! What better way for Dad to celebrate than with an all nighter!! Our second tournament of the season will be tomorrow June 20th!! Now Fred’s will be closed most of the morning while Fred and her mom help with the Rick & Bernie Fisher Memorial Golf Scramble that benefits the Ridgewood golf teams and Fred’s dad will be golfing in the Coshocton Browns Backers Scramble. As soon as Fred’s dad gets done he will be in the shop ready to go!!
Basic rules for the tournament:
2 man teams
Rod and reel only
Public water only
4 biggest fish get weighed
ODNR length and limit rules apply
Fish must be alive at weigh in
$30/2 man team
$10 shovelhead sidepot
$10 channel sidepot

Any questions, give us a shout!!

Also, the bait fridge out front will be stocked up with night crawlers, waxworms, liver and more!!
