I've been planing a batch of short boards that are more or less unusual in shape. I haven't gotten around to measuring and pricing yet.

I've kiln dried and have for sale some 4/4 Ambrosia maple, along with some spalted Hackberry. (seems weird that facebook thinks both spalted and Hackberry are misspelled) $3 to $4.50 per board foot. Also have several shorter live edge pieces.

I have several of these ash Y shaped pieces. On the one pictured, I cut off several feet and skimmed one side with an electric hand plane. The others are still on the shelf. It is hard to read in the picture but the height is 41"

I have some short, fairly wide, walnut slabs that just came out of the kiln. I skimmed small areas with an electric hand planer just to make sure they were walnut, and took some measurements/pics.
Update: I've sold the pieces numbered 1 and 5.

I have a few 4/4 figured walnut boards. $6 to $10 per board foot.

Sawmilling with the Lucas Mill and chainsaw bar attachment: This has been a struggle. First, the silver maple log was big enough that we had to lift the mill, putting it on concrete blocks. The drive hub and chain were worn, so I spent $359 on those and a coupe of spare track roller. It took a while to figure out that the dept gauges on the chain need lowered (a lot) to get it to cut. The mill is incredibly hard to push through a wide log when the chain isn't perfect. Then when we were having better luck sawing (after several days of sawing only one slab and quitting) we hit a pole barn nail. The next pass at almost the same place as the nail, we hit a rock. Funny how a rock did as much to damage a chain as the pole barn nail. I ordered a 100' roll of .404 skip tooth ripping chain for $355, but it is not in yet. This is not proving to be a profitable effort so far.
